The mission of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) is to inspire, design and deliver ‘Sri Lanka Tourism’. Our goal is to delight our customers with passion and excellence, while showcasing all that Sri Lanka has to offer.

With this in mind, the Domestic Tourism Development and Resorts Management Division of the SLTDA has established a network of national resorts in popular destinations in Sri Lanka to provide convenient, comfortable, and affordable accommodation for vacationers and pilgrims.

It is our hope that these five resorts in Nuwara Eliya, Bandarawela, Bentota, Anuradhapura, and Kataragama, will improve domestic tourism and make the attractions, landscapes, and cultures easily accessible for those traveling on a budget. Our locations are not only in popular tourism destinations, but are located on beautiful and lush premises.

Rates at all National Holiday Resorts and Rest Houses are kept at a minimum to enable Sri Lankans to have a vacation or make pilgrimage on a modest budget. Every effort is made by us to maintain high standards for guests and add a crowning touch to a truly memorable holiday or pilgrimage with an authentic Sri Lankan flavor.
